Medion LifeTab P9514 launched

Medion, a company known for its computers and notebooks has launched a new Android tablet called the Medion LifeTab P9514. Packing a 10″ (1280 x 800) display, it features large bezels all around the screen – a pretty odd design in this day and age where everybody is trying to get rid of bezels in their devices. Other than that, it has standard Android Honeycomb tablet specs: a dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 32GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, and a microSD expansion slot.

The tablet features HDMI output, GPS, WiFi, quad-band HSDPA, and is said to have a battery life of up to 10 hours. It also comes preloaded with Documents to Go and LifeTab media software. The tablet will be launched in Europe for about 399 Euros (about $566) during the holiday season. No word of whether it will be available stateside, but we won’t be surprised if it isn’t.
