Google Maps Navigation on Android now supported in 25 more countries around the world

Google has added support for a raft of new countries to use Google Maps Navigation on Android devices for the first time.

According to Android Police, the full list of newly added countries is spread across Africa, Asia, Central America and Europe and is comprised of: Andorra, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burundi, Central African Republic, Croatia, Djibouti, Gabon, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Lesotho, Libya, Maldives, Mongolia, Puerto Rico, Republic of Congo, Samoa, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Togo, Tonga, Tunisia,Vanuatu and Zambia.

As also noted, some of the countries in the list don’t actually have access to the Google Play Store, so downloading the app in these places isn’t possible anyway. Nevertheless, if you’re travelling to any of the countries listed, or the nearly 100 countries that are now supported in total, it’s reassuring to know your Android device at least has a chance of getting you to your destination.
