Twitter might have something going on its mind lately- may be establishing its Instagram busting photo filters feature or whatsoever the reason is, it has spotted in hot water in UK because of failing to file the business account with local registrar companies (Companies house), on time. This highlight is issued by SKY News- “Twitter has been fined for the late filing of its business account. UK based subsidiary of Twitter, TweetDeck has failed to file its business account on time and thus fined.”When Twitter is being asked about this, they have denied to give any response.
Twitter Companies House page showed that accounts have to be cleared by September 30, and they have not filed it so far. The next return is due in June.
TweetDeck’s accounts were due in September and they are also overdue.
At present, Twitter is fined for its late filing 375 as published on traffic published on the website of Companies House. The fine is announced for one month and overdue for less than three months. The fine will continue to enhance as longer as the will file the accounts.
Such small fines will not trouble the company with well off back, however it may result in business struck off with UK Registrar.
